Description |
US Navy Ribbon Bar containing three ribbons. The first is the American Campaign Ribbon (red, white and blues). The second is Asiatic Pacific Campaign Ribbon (yellow, red, white with one blue stripe). The third is the Philippine LIberation Ribbon (red on either end and the middle blue and white). The two bronze stars which are on the Philippine Liberation Ribbon are worn because Clarence served on a ship that participated in the initial landing operations from Oct 17 to Oct 20, 1944, as well as having participated in engagments with the enemy and served in the area for at least 30 days. (There are three identical ribbon bars) |
