Description |
Brass and cloisonné round radiator badge for a Gardner automobile enamel It was manufactured in St. Louis by the Gardner Motor Car Col from 1919-1931. The cars were assembled in the old St. Louis Chevrolet plant. Round badge, 1 7/8" diameter. In center is a black enamel capital "G" with the Gardner family coat of arms superimposed. The coat of arms has griffins on either side of the shield. Enamel missing at the top of the G. Rim is dented. Fair condition. Location: Museum storage or display. |
