Description |
Steel and lacquer hood emblem from a Kaiser auto dated 1949-1953. Kaiser Motors, Willow Run, Mi was founded by Henry J. Kaiser and Joe Frayer in hopes of breaking the Big Three's stronghold on the US auto industry. Kaiser Motors operated from 1946-1953. The badge is shield shaped and measures 3 ¾ X 4". The top has a large steel K. At one time, the background was painted with black paint. Most of the paint is missing. The bottom half has a textured relief steel buffalo against a painted black background. The paint is chipped. Fair condition. Location: Museum storage or display |
