Description |
Painted metal grille emblem for a Pontiac 8. The emblem was featured in the 1935-36 Pontiac 8 models. The car was named for its 8-cylinder engine named the Silver Streak. Background of the emblem is painted red. It appears that at one time the lettering was painted copper color. 4 ½ X 2 ½". Paint on the lettering is nearly all worn off, and some of the background paint is missing. Fair condition. Location: Museum storage or display |
