Summary |
Set amid a backdrop of cruel guerrilla warfare during the civil war, a young man and woman from the north and south are thrown together by fate. Jean Denslow, a true southern belle and avid rebel is absolutely certain that she and Lieutenant Elbert King of the Union Army are totally wrong for each other. As the war swirls about them, a murder takes place under very mysterious circumstances and they find themselves working together to find the murderer, while attempting to maintain the distance required by their alliances for the war. |
